Dahiat Sumou is the flagship 1.6 million m² master-planned development serving as the benchmark for the 87 km² Bawabat Makkah satellite city. Strategically located on the western edge of the Makkah holy region — with two-thirds of the site positioned within the Haram boundary — the project is a vital component of a vision to house 690,000 residents.

As the master developer, Dahiat Sumou is responsible for 100% of the infrastructure and 40% of the superstructure, while providing overall managerial oversight for the remaining 60% developed via subcontractors.
