Chief Executive Officer
Sumou is a Saudi investor-developer. We were founded in 2007, headquartered in Al Khobar, in the Eastern Province — with operations and active projects across the Kingdom, Cairo and London.
We do not chase quarterly returns. We assemble land, design with the world's most considered architecture and hospitality houses, and hold our projects for the generations who will inhabit them. Our brief is measured in decades.
Our portfolio spans branded residences, master-planned communities, mixed-use towers, and hospitality-led destinations. Each is a singular response to its place — and each is conceived to anchor its city in the cultural memory of the Kingdom.
We are not a design studio for hire. We invest. We commission. We hold. We measure our success not in the year of handover, but in the century that follows.

The chairman
Dr Ayedh AlQahtani founded Sumou Global Investment in 2007. Three decades of conviction in the cultural and economic ambition of the Kingdom — and in places designed to hold meaning across generations — sit behind every commitment the studio makes.
As Chairman, he holds the brief: patient capital, considered partnerships, a horizon measured in decades. The studio executes; the chairman keeps the line.
