— Project brief
The Murouj Jeddah project is a bespoke inland destination city, uniquely nestled within a valley corridor between two prominent mountain ridges. Moving beyond the scope of a conventional residential expansion, the project is designed as a curated attraction city — a place defined by purpose and experience.
The project leverages its unique geography to create a natural amphitheater. While Jeddah's traditional growth is horizontal and coastal, Murouj Jeddah is vertical and framed. This creates a 'contained world' effect, where the mountain ridges act as natural walls that focus the visitor's attention inward toward the curated experiences.
